All items on this menu are used for system maintenance.
User Defined Fields ...
Use this menu item to enter the titles for the 15 user difined fields.
Teachers ...
Used to enter your special education teachers and administrators.
 
Locations ...
This is a list of your school buildings along with the grades taught and the school students will be moved to once they have completed the highest grade level.

Transportation ...
Use this menu item to enter the types of special transportation student may need. For example..........

Outside Agencies ... Top of page
Used to enter the agencies your district work with in conjunction with your Special Ed. students. Includes space for an unlimited number of contact people within each agency.

Used to enter services a student may need, these items can then be selected in the "Needed Services"

Record Types ... Top of page
This list contains the differant kinds of records you will use in the data base.
These (3) line items are system defaults and can not be modified.
CWD
New Student
Transfered Out

You may enter additional items at any time, you could enter "504" as a record type and use the system to track those students. Only those student that are listed as "CWD" or "Transferred Out", are used for the Dec. 1st, child count.

 
Misc. Handicaps ... Top of page
Use this menu to enter additional secondary handicap types. These items can then be used to track
misc. class units etc. Items entered here are not used for the Dec. 1st, child count.
 


Show School Calendar ... Top of page
Displays the calendar so you can indicate which days school will be closed.
 


Edit Forms ... Top of page
Use this menu to modify the default text on the state forms.
 
Rebuils Default Forms ... Top of page
Use this menu to restore the default text on all state forms.
( just in case you do something you regret when you "Edit Forms"... )


System Utilities ... Top of page
This is password protected and only used be Myriad Solutions technical support.


System Shutdown ... Top of page
This is only available to the system administrator. Used to shut down the system for maintenance or upgrades. It will open a window on the computers of a connected users informing them the system will shutdown in (n) minutes. At the end of that time each users computer will save all work they are doing and quit from the data base.
 
Any user that tries to sign on to the system after you select "System Shutdown", will be presented with a dialog that states.......
("The system is down for maintenance. Please try again later.")
 
Clear Shutdown File ... Top of page
After the system has been shutdown the system administrator MUST select this menu item before
any users will be able to log onto the system.
